Netflix Animation

Netflix Animation is a new branch of the mega streaming service we all know and love. Rather than buying animation films from large animation studios, Netflix is now branching out to produce its own content.

Netflix is an enormous company, and they are putting a lot of work into animation. Netflix has several feature animated films and TV series with dozens more in production.

At Netflix’s new blistering pace, they will quickly catch up to popular animation studio libraries. Netflix could be a top 5 animation studio in just a few years based on the volume of films they plan to create.

Netflix Animation Movies Coming Soon

Netflix is expected to release five feature-length films in 2022. Netflix will release Escape From Hat, My Father’s Dragon, Pinocchio, The Sea Beast, and Wendell & Wild.

Even though Netflix’s 2022 lineup sounds ambitious, they have over twelve more films in the production pipeline. Netflix is turning up the heat, and that is only a small fraction of all their animation.

Netflix is also pumping out several animated TV series like Centaurworld and Trash Truck that are now onto season 2. They have 12 animated series to view right now with 10 more coming soon and double that in production. Can Netflix Animation become the new animation giant and compete with Disney?
