Parents should know the Shrek Forever After is the fourth and final film in the series. Similar to the other films in the series there is mild insulting language throughout and cartoonish fighting scenes between ogres and witches. The character couples flirt and kiss some but keep it to a minimum.

The film is built on humor and there are some teasing jokes gross food moments which are funny. Overall Shrek Forever After does a good job of encouraging unity and having the guts to do the right thing.
