Trolls World Tour Parents Guide

Parents should know that Trolls World Tour is a sequel to the original Trolls movie in 2016. This time around the trolls battle one another on the music stage as groups of trolls are represented by the music genres they belong to.

The hard rock trolls attempt to turn every one to their side and battles break out. The hard rock trolls cause most of the chaos by breaking and destroying objects as well as kidnapping some of the trolls.

One troll has a glimpse of his happy place in a near-death drowning incident but nobody dies. There is some mild insulting language throughout such as, “you suck,” and “dang.” Additionally, there is also some light flirting between a couple of the main characters.

Overall the movie has an all-star cast of voice talent for the music-focused film and emphasizes positive messages around the importance of diversity, inclusion, and musical creativity.

Trolls World Tour Box Office

Amid the COVID19 break out (March-April 2020) Trolls World tour and their parent studio, DreamWorks elected to release the film straight to video on demand rather than rescheduling the release date.
