63. Lonesome Ghosts (1937)
One of the oldest Halloween Disney movies features Mickey, Donald, and Goofy who are managing the Ajax Ghost Exterminators agency. They received a call through the telephone to drive out four ghosts from a haunted house.
However, they didn’t know that the call was from four lonesome ghosts because they were so bored. The lonesome ghosts set up the exterminators for a series of annoying tricks and pranks.
62. The Adventures of Ichabod and Mr. Toad (1949)
This classic film created by Walt Disney has two parts. One features Mr. Toad and the other Ichabod Crane. The story of Mr. Toad is about a wealthy and carefree toad who ends up having debt and ends up in prison and escapes with his friends’ help.
The story of Ichabod Crane is based on the legend of The Sleepy Hollow which he encounters the headless horseman himself. Both classics are start-up films that introduced animation into movies and marked Walt Disney Studios at its best.
61. Trick or Treat (1952)
Walt Disney Productions produced this short film in 1952. Donald Duck is the star of this film, together with his nephews, Huey, Duey, Louie, and the witch Hazel.
Donald pranks his nephews by putting firecrackers in their bags instead of candies. Then he pulls a string that drops a bucket of water on their heads. The witch sees all of the pranks, and she decides to help the kids by giving Donald a hard time!
60. Blackbeard’s Ghost (1968)
Steve Walker, a track coach, accidentally reads the magic words that summon the pirate Blackbeard, who is now a ghost. The spirit of Blackbeard explained that his wife cursed him for staying on Earth until he could do a good deed.
Steve had no choice but to aid him since he was the only one who could hear or see Blackbeard. The two are tasked to help Professor Backer stop a group of crooks.
59. Escape to Witch Mountain (1975)
Tia and Tony are orphaned twin siblings with extraordinary powers. Their abilities catch the eye of the evil millionaire named Aristotle Bolt. A man named Lucas pretends to be their uncle to get the kids handled by the evil millionaire who wants to exploit them.
A widower named Jason helps them escape to Witch Mountain. His mission is to help Tia and Tony also help Jason escape the pain of losing his wife.
58. Bedknobs and Broomsticks (1971)
Three children, Charlie, Carrie, and Paul, are sent to London to live with Miss Eglantine Price. The children attempted to run, but when they saw Ms. Price attempting to fly on a broomstick, they changed their minds and decided to stay.
She offered the children a transportation spell for them to keep her secret. She then casts a spell on a bedknob that only Paul can activate. Her work is eventually used in the war effort.
57. The Black Hole (1979)
The USS Palomino is on its way back to Earth when it discovers a missing ship named the “USS Cygnus.” Kate McCrae, a scientist from the USS Palomino, discovered the same ship where her father had served as a crew member.
When they boarded the USS Cygnus, they met Dr. Reindhardt and the bizarre faceless army that plans to be the first people to explore a black hole.
56. 13 Ghosts of Buxley Hall (1980)
The ghosts living in a 100-year-old Buxley Hall scare off the female imposters and restore the academy to its traditional standing when they are forced to allow girls into the boys-only academy. They set up their hopes for a cadet named Jeremy, an heir to a fortune.
55. The Watcher in the Woods (1980)
A family moves into an old English house in a thickly wooded area. Soon after, the family experiences strange, paranormal appearances that entice them to know more about the house’s origins.
Their daughters also experience this as they hear the voice of a teenage girl who mysteriously disappeared decades ago during a total solar eclipse.
54. Something Wicked This Way Comes (1983)
Will Halloway and Jim Nightshade are best friends and neighbors in Green Town, Illinois, and they know about everyone’s stories and dreams in their town. One night, the boys overheard a mysterious train, and they ran through the woods to follow it, but they found Mr. Dark’s Pandemonium Carnival.

The family soon learns the house is haunted by an older pilgrim named Mr. Boogedy. The children do not believe the stories, and when they return home, they are haunted by Mr. Boogedy.
50. Edward Scissorhands (1990)
The famous film made by Tim Burton is about a man named Edward Scissorhands. He was discovered by Peg Boggs, who took care of him as he brought Edward to her home.
Peg’s daughter falls in love with Edward, while Jim is jealous of Kim’s attraction to Edward. All went well until Jim framed Edward for all the troubles caused in town that sent Edward back to where he belonged.
49. The Nightmare Before Christmas (1993)
Tim Burton produces this Halloween-Christmas film. The story is about a pumpkin king named Jack Skellington who consistently makes Halloween spookier and becomes obsessed with Christmas until he tries something new and changes his usual routine.
He kidnaps Santa Claus to take over the Christmas holidays. This film became the famous Halloween-Christmas crossover that produced a lot of related media franchises.
48. Hocus Pocus (1993)
This movie is about three wacky 300-year-old witches who were reincarnated by a Halloween-hater kid named Max. They were on a mission to destroy the town and replenish their youth.

47. Casper (1995)
It is the story of Casper, the friendly ghost who peacefully haunts the Whipstaff manor in Maine. Not until a specialist and his daughter came up to live in the mansion and communicate with them.
Casper is a fun-filled, underrated film for kids and most adults because of some iffy language and scenes unsuitable for kids. Overall, this movie is excellent and perfect for the Halloween holiday!
46. Escape to Witch Mountain (1995)
This film is a remake of the 1975 Escape to Witch Mountain film. Two orphaned twin siblings, Anna and Danny, share powerful psychokinetic abilities that catch the eye of a wealthy businessman, Edward Bolt.
Bolt intends to use the twins’ power for his profitable gain. Later, a random encounter with the store owner Waldo Fudd will bring a surprising secret to light and set the twins on a dangerous quest to Witch Mountain.
45. James and The Giant Peach (1996)
In an unfortunate accident, a rhinoceros ends James’ parents’ lives. Soon after, he goes to live with his two unpleasant aunts, ending his happy life at the English seaside.
Later, he saves a spider that gives him magical boiled crocodile tongues. After that, a giant peach starts to grow in the garden. He also meets several friends, including a centipede and a ladybug, who help him get to New York.
44. Tower of Terror (1997)
A journalist and his assistants investigate a 1939 mystery of a hotel elevator in a luxury hotel where five people vanished on Halloween. The film stars Steve Guttenberg, Kirstin Dunst, and Nia Peeples.

43. Underwraps (1997)
Underwraps is a story about the three kids, Marshall, Amy, and Gilbert, who accidentally revived a mummy they found in their neighbor’s basement.
They made friends with the mummy and named him Harold. They must rush to find his resting place before midnight as a group of criminals intends to sell him to the highest bidder.
42. Halloweentown (1998)
This movie was released on Halloween in October 1998 and became the first of the Halloweentown series. After Marnie Piper learns she is a witch, she helps save a town full of supernatural creatures, including vampires, werewolves, witches, ghosts, and pumpkin heads.

40. Smart House (1999)
A 13-year-old boy named Ben wins a computerized house with a cyborg maid named PAT. When he gets into the house with his dad, he realizes that his dad may not marry again since PAT can handle all the chores.
However, his father develops an interest in another woman. Ben tinkered with the program PAT, but the computer messed it up, which got everything out of control. Ben must find a way to calm Pat down and set everything in order.
39. Phantom of the Megaplex (2000)
Phantom of the Megaflex is about a boy who is working at a 26-screen megaplex. At the time of the “Midnight Mayhem” premiere, he finds out that there are full of strange occurrences and the appearance of a “phantom.”
It feels like the “Are You Afraid Of The Dark” episode that targets the kid audiences of the film.
38. Mom’s Got a Date With a Vampire (2000)

36. Mickey’s House of Villains (2001)
On Halloween night, villains begin showing up at the House of Mouse. Jafar has a trick in store, but the villains must wait until midnight for him to unleash it. Soon the villains join together and kick out Mickey, Donald, and Goofy.
The heroes, princesses, and other innocent characters are trapped in the kitchen. The villains change the house name to House of Villains. Mickey and his friends need to work together to evict the villains and return his house to normal.
35. The Poof Point (2001)
Two scientists invent a time machine where the “vector modulator” falls out before testing it. Nothing wrong seems to happen, but they wake up the next day to mentally regress in age.
Their kids notice the strange pattern and realize that the time machine has changed them. The kids know they have to get them in the machine and reverse the effect before they vanish away.
34. Halloweentown II: Kalabar’s Revenge (2001)
This movie was released in October 2001, three years following the first Halloweentown movie. Marnie tries to impress Kal by showing him her grandmother’s secret magic room.
She does not know that Kal is the son of Kalabar, who plans to steal her grandmother’s spellbook. Marnie and her grandmother plot to stop the plans of a young warlock to bring chaos into the world.
33. The Scream Team (2002)
This comedy Halloween-themed movie is about three restless ghosts who have unfinished business on Earth. They were sentenced to New Hampshire, where they had to prove they were worthy to enter heaven.
They had a mission to help the two children troubled by an angry spirit who refused to let their grandfather rest in peace. The Scream Team is a fun-filled, light-humored movie that is good to watch with the family on Halloween.
32. The Haunted Mansion (2003)
The Haunted Mansion is one of the best comedy films by Eddie Murphy since The Nutty Professor. Eddie plays Jim Evers, a workaholic real estate agent who takes his family on vacation.
As the storm floods the area, he stops by the mansion he is asked to sell and discovers it haunted. The Haunted Mansion is a must-see for Eddie Murphy fans who love his style of comedy in a wide variety of films. Lesson learned: Never mix business with family time.
31. Return to Halloweentown (2004)
This movie is also known as Halloweentown 4 from the sequence of the previous three movies. Marnie Piper graduated high school and then enrolled and attended Witch U at Halloweentown University, where witches and warlocks can’t use magic.
Marnie makes friends with a genie named Aneesa, whom she discovers that she is responsible for the rules against the use of magic at school.
30. Halloweentown High (2004)
Halloweentown High was released in October 2004, three years after the previous Halloweentown movie. Marnie Piper prepares herself for a new school year by proposing to bring a group of Halloweentown students to her school.
After all the trouble, she protected the students from the Knights of the Iron Dagger.
29. Pooh’s Heffalump Halloween Movie (2005)
This movie features Pooh and his friends in a Trick-or-treat adventure. Roo’s new friend Lumpy the Heffalump, is excited to do trick-or-treat until Tigger warns them about Gobloon that if he catches them, he will turn them into a Jaggedy Lantern.
28. Twitches (2005)
This movie was released in 2005 and Is based on the book T*witches published by Scholastic Press. The twin sisters and witches didn’t meet until they were 21.
They’ve been working to combine and strengthen their powers to save their home from the forces of darkness. Alexandra and Camryn combined their powers to avoid the disaster.
27. Now You See It… (2005)
A magician named Mystic Max hosts a reality TV show that allows the winning three teams could become TV directors and cameramen. It tells what happens on a reality TV show when someone uncovers something not meant to be seen on TV.
Allyson Miller was an aspiring TV producer who discovered Danny Sinclair. He is a young magician who performs surprisingly awesome magic tricks but lacks self-confidence.

22. Frankenweenie (2012)
Another Disney Halloween movie by Tim Burton takes on the story of Young Victor Frankenstein trying to resurrect his dog using electricity. Frankenweenie is the first black and white 3D animation that was released in IMAX 3D.
The film stars the voice of Winona Ryder, one of Tim Burton’s favorite actresses in his films, including Edward Scissorhands and Beetlejuice.
21. Girl vs. Monster (2012)
Girl vs. Monster was released in October 2012. It’s about a girl who’s a fifth-generation monster hunter named Skylar. She discovered that her parents were monster hunters themselves, and monsters were planning to get revenge.
She accidentally released monsters from a secret chamber. Now, she is on a mission to capture the cruel monsters before they can harm her parents.

The stories of the Grimm Brothers inspired this film,’ and it combined the favorite fairytales all together in one movie. Into the Woods was magically stitched together to make the fairytale stories related to a magical quest.
Into The Woods stories made it very interesting for children who grew up hearing stories that started “Once upon a time” with a twist. The film earned many awards and nominations due to the actors’ performances and production.

According to the story of Sleeping Beauty that we’ve heard since we were kids, Angelina Jolie plays the backstory of Maleficent, who is deemed an evil witch because she cast a spell on Princess Aurora.
It takes the story of Sleeping Beauty from a different perspective and shows how the idea of Maleficent becomes evil to most people. Maleficent is one of the best origin stories of a Disney character, and adults love it too!

Invisible Sister is based on the book “My Invisible Sister” and was made as a Disney Channel Original Movie. Cleo creates a vapor for a school science project that can make a moth invisible.
She soon discovers that she accidentally turned her sister invisible. Cleo needs the help of her friends to cure her invisible sister and return to her normal state.

Queen Belle and the Beast get married and unite kingdoms into the United States of Auradon. Ben, the son of Belle and the Beast, is destined to step up to the throne.

Last on the list of our Disney Halloween movies is “Goosebumps.” The film starts with Zach Cooper moving into a new town and falling in love with a mysterious girl named Hannah.
It turns out that R. L. Stine (Jack Black) protects his books from the monsters that come out of his books. Stine protects his readers by keeping them locked up, but he unintentionally unleashes the monsters and begins to terrorize the town.
It’s an adventure and action-packed movie that is excellent to watch this Halloween!
13. Descendants 2 (2017)
Descendants is a sequel to the 2015 film Descendants, where Villain kids found their happy endings while living in their new home. The story starts with Mal having struggles with her relationship with King Ben.
She became too reliant on spells and magic to transform herself to maintain a princess’s personality. Ben realizes this, and Mal returns to the Isle of the Lost, where she discovers that rival Uma ruled it, Ursula’s daughter, and the sons of Gaston and Captain Hook.
12. Coco (2017)
Coco is another film from Disney Halloween movies produced by Pixar Animated Studios. The story follows Miguel, a 12-year-old boy who is accidentally transported to the land of the dead.
He meets his great-great-grandfather and asks him to return him to his family to help reverse his family’s hate and ban his dream of becoming a musician.
This film has very touching scenes and musical themes, so make sure you bring something to wipe your tears while watching the film.
11. Z-O-M-B-I-E-S (2018)
This film is based on Zombies and Cheerleaders and premiered on February 16, 2018. An accident at the Seabrook Power Plant 50 years ago resulted in an explosion that caused half the population to turn into zombies.
The zombies were behind a constructed territory called Zombietown. Zed and Addison must work together to show Seabrook that they can embrace their differences and celebrate as one community.
10. Maleficent: Mistress of Evil (2019)
This sequel to the movie “Maleficent” stars Angelina Jolie in a returning role. Maleficent faces the neighboring kingdom’s manipulated perception of her as a witch and a villain.
Prince Phillip accuses and makes stories of how Maleficent became a villainess in Aurora’s story. This film never fails to amaze us with its best storyline and how Angelina portrays the role. We can’t wait for another sequel!
9. Descendants 3 (2019)
The four main characters returned to the Isle of the Lost to choose four new kids to be taken to the Auradon. They chose Squeaky and Squirmy, the twins of Mr. Smee, Dizzy, the granddaughter of Lady Tremaine, and Celia, the daughter of Dr. Facilier.
Later that night, Audrey steals the Crown and Maleficent’s Scepter from The Museum. When the barrier is opened, Hades attempts to escape, but Mal beats him back. Mal is now determined to protect everyone and restore peace while closing the barrier permanently.
8. Cruella (2020)
Another antagonist’s backstory features Emma Stone as a young girl who wants to make a name in the fashion world. She met and became friends with a fashion legend, where she changed into a revenge-bent alter-ego known as Cruella de Vil.
This prequel to the classic 101 Dalmatians gives the viewers a different point of view and a twist! It gives the best of Emma Stone to portray a role that most Dalmatian lovers fear and hate and is a very entertaining movie that will leave you at the edge of your seats!

Zombies 2 is a sequel to the first, which was released two years earlier. Addison and Zed continue their new growing relationship. However, all their progress is now in danger with the introduction of the werewolves.
6. Z-O-M-B-I-E-S 3 (2022)
Zed anticipates an athletic scholarship while Addison is gearing up for Seabrook’s international cheer-off competition. Then suddenly, extraterrestrial beings appear around Seabrook, causing more than friendly competition.
5. Hocus Pocus 2 (2022)
Modern-day Salem is introduced to the Sanderson Sisters when three young girls accidentally bring the trio back to town. Now the three friends must stop the witches from destroying the town.
